Queens Daily Eagle Reports on SAICBA-Q’s Annual Gala

Queens Daily Eagle, the only daily print newspaper covering Queens politics and legal news, recently reported on our successful Annual Gala in their September 23, 2026 issue. The article highlighted the remarks of the honorees from the event. Hon. Edwin Novillo, Queens County Criminal Court Supervising Judge, said: “I am deeply honored to receive this recognition,” and “[T]his is a reminder of our shared responsibility to lift others up.” Hon. Shorab Ibrahim, a Queens County Housing Court judge who grew up in Ozone Park, said: “It meant so much to my family and myself. It was truly an honor.” Rhonda Binda, a Queens district leader recognized as a People’s Choice winner for building smart, safe, and compassionate cities, was also honored. The Eagle article also detailed the induction of SAICBA-Q’s new slate of board members.
