SAICBA-Q Attends Latino Lawyers Association Annual Gala

SAICBA-Q members and board leaders gathered at the iconic Terrace on the Park on October 16, 2026 for an evening at the Latino Lawyers Association of Queens County (“LLAQ”) Annual Gala.

SAICBA-Q and LLAQ share a commitment to increasing diversity in the legal profession, promoting access to justice, and elevating underrepresented voices throughout our court system. Attending the LLAQ Gala continued our tradition of standing alongside sister bar associations that work towards our common goals.

This year, our members also celebrated a special honor at this year’s gala: LLAQ’s presentation of “Amigo of the Year Award” to SAICBA-Q’s founder, Ali Najmi.

Seeing Ali’s advocacy and commitment to community empowerment being celebrated by our friends at LLAQ served as a reminder of the bridges we can build when we work together.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Latino Lawyers Association of Queens County for hosting a magnificent evening, and we congratulate Ali Najmi on this well-deserved recognition!

We look forward to many more years of collaboration, partnership, and collective progress.
