We proudly kicked off our mentorship program, led by our VP of Private Sector Jessica Ramsawak with CUNY Law’s Caribbean Law Students Association! Thank you to all who attended to be paired – it was the start to new tradition that will strengthen the #SAIC future attorneys of Queens!
Of our esteemed participants in our mentorship program launch on Tuesday, we especially want to thank Judge Srividya Pappachan! She was instrumental in steering the board to create the program that would be meaningful for all participants and blossom over the years.
Judge Srividya Pappachan was first appointed as an Interim Civil Court Judge in December 2021 and has been serving in Criminal Court. Judge Pappachan is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts – Amherst and received her J.D. from Hofstra University School of Law. She began her legal career with The Legal Aid Society, Criminal Defense Practice as a Staff Attorney. She also served as Court Attorney to a New York County Criminal Court Judge.
